"Mark couldn´t believe his good luck"

In the language class we were asked to write a story with a minimun of 130 words, starting with the phrase "Mark couldn´t believe his good luck". Moreover, we had to use:

- 5 connectors
- 3 sequence markers (first, then)
- 2 examples of direct speech

Here is my story:

Mark couldn´t believe his good luck. his dream came true, he finally got into the American football league. After he received the letter, he immediately called his best friend, Lucas and told him:

- "Can you believe it?"
- "Believe what?"- Lucas asked
- "I got into the Leagues!"- he exclaimed
- " Really? You´re awesome my friend! Are you free this afternoon?"
- "Yes!"
- " Well, then I´ll visit you around 4pm"
- "Ok, I'll be waiting for you!"

Therefore, Mark went to his room so as to prepare his suitcase, because the next day he was going to visit the site were the team trained. He was notably happy, eventhough he would have to leave his friends and family, he looked forward to becoming a football star.

At 4pm Lucas arrived. They talked for a long time, especially about how long they won´t see each other. That was undertermined, they would definetly miss each other.
