Enchanting Paradise

In Language through Literature Writing, we studied how to write the description of place. Then, we had to choose a place we like and describe it, following instructions. I chose Bora Bora Island:

Bora Bora is an Island which was discovered in 1722, and was named like the most beautiful island on the planet. It’s located about 160 miles northwest from Tahiti and approximately 2,600 miles south of Hawaii. It is a French colony which has no capital city and there are about 8,900 people living there.

What I love from Bora Bora are the marvelous beaches it has, the hot weather and the sunny days. The flora and fauna are beautiful and interesting; you can find many animals and exotic plants. The colour of the sea is also amazing.

The bad things about Bora Bora are that it is too expensive to travel there and that from Argentina to Bora Bora there are 11 hours of flight. What we also have to take into account is that the food is quite strange.

There are many great things to see and do; you can go snorkeling, scuba diving, you can also visit the Marae Temples, art galleries, shops. You can visit these places via motorboat, catamaran, outrigger canoe. Helicopters can be taken for island tours.

Bora Bora is an enchanting paradise, although it is quite expensive. If you ever have the opportunity to travel to this island, I’m sure you won’t miss it.
