Formal Letter

Dear Earl,

Thank you for inviting me to have dinner tonight at your castle. I am very pleased. Some minutes ago my mother called me and told me that she needed me at home urgently. This means I will not go to have dinner tonight.

I am very sorry. My little sister is very ill. I have to buy her medicine. You know it is expensive, and the money from the tournament is not enough to buy medicine for one month. I will look for a job. All the members of my family are trying to help her.

I will not stop saying sorry, because to be invited to "The Earl's castle" is an honour. Thank you any way.

                                                         Your Sincerely,
                                                                                Sir Robert
